quantity  of  the  output.  The  terrain,  vegetation,

               and  beaches  of  the  natural  resources  will  be

               affected  by  the  intensity  of  use.  Taking  such

               concentrations  of  use  under  consideration  and

               planning  accordingly  for  permanent  aesthetic


               appreciation  will  help  to  maintain  the  quality  of
               the  natural  resources  for  the  enjoyment  of


               present  and  future  users.  The  quality  of  the
               natural resources must be maintained to sustain


               tourism demand. Proper levels of quality must be
               considered when planning, and the maintenance


               of  quality  standards  after  construction  is

               completed is absolutely necessary for continued

               satisfaction of the visitor. In fact, tourism is very

               sensitive

               to  the  quality  of  recreational  use  of  natural

               resources,  and  unless  high  standards  are

               maintained,  a  depreciation  of  the  demand  will

               inevitably       result.     Thus,      ecological       and

               environmental considerations are vital.
