Chairman's Comment
Welcome to the latest edition of Something’s Brewing. The BSA magazine made by
the people in our trade for the people in our trade.
As we look forward to perhaps the first real in person trade event at Caffe Culture
in September, the BSA is excited to announce the launch of our 2021 awards
programme. The awards cover 7 distinct categories which should be of interest to
all sectors in the Hot Beverage channels.
There are 6 awards open to retail outlets and 1 award for suppliers and distributor
companies.
As we go to press several of the awards have already attracted sponsorship and
more details will follow.
We are looking forward to revealing the winners later in the year and presenting
the awards on stage at the Caffe Culture show.
Details of how to obtain your application pack are to be found on the BSA Website
and please see our promotional page in this edition of Something’s Brewing.
As the Pandemic subsides here and we seem to be well on the road map as issued
by the Government, I urge everyone to think twice and carry on with the fantastic
and almost normal practices of social distancing, hand sanitisation and sensible
actions such as good ventilation. I am very sure the show in September will
observe all precautions for everyone’s well-being.
Our next issue will focused on sustainability in our specific industry and I invite
anyone to contribute your stories, innovations, comments and suggestions to:
bulletin@beveragestandardsassociation.co.uk
As always please do contact me directly if you wish to discuss anything in the
magazine or the wider trade.
