East Central Catholic School Division Assurance Framework - Continuous Improvement
Step One - Domain Reflection (August-September)
• In order to establish a baseline understanding of the various domains and associated outcomes; it is important reflect on past practice in order to develop strategies and performance measures for a continuous improvement process. Three critical questions need to be addressed.
• Celebrations - What does the division and specific school community do well?
• Challenges - What does the division and specific school community need to improve
upon?
• Opportunities - What opportunities could the division and specific school community
focus on as a means to improve practice?
Activity
• Staff will be organized in groups of 5-10 depending on the size of the staff at each school loca- tion.
• Each group will be provided 30 minutes to review each domain, associated outcomes and per- formance measures.
• School admin teams will appoint one person within each group to moderate and document the feedback on each domain.
• Each group will provide feedback on the Celebrations - Challenges - Opportunities for each domain as the outcomes, strategies, and performance measures relate to the local school con- text.
