Longwood House is larger than we had anticipated from our pre-visit reading. The
property is now part of La Belle France which is also responsible for the upkeep of
the house and grounds. The house appears to be in good repair and is a beige-white
stucco. The concrete steps leading to the front entrance are said to be the very ones
that Napoleon himself walked up and down every time he entered and departed
from the house.
