Seniors begin their school year with a course specifically
targeted to their unique concerns. Throughout this course
school counselors guide students through an in-depth
exploration of their interests, abilities, and skills by utilizing
Family Connection. Family Connection is a comprehensive
web-based college and career exploration tool in which
students can research careers and colleges, take
assessments, create goals, track college applications, and
much more. School counselors will work side by side with
their students to help them build their pathway to success
throughout high school and beyond. Students will also
complete the required Graduation Project in this course.
Length: Yearlong
Suggested Grades: 12 - – All students in this grade are
assigned to this course.

SAT Prep Math
The SAT Prep Math course is designed to help students
prepare for the mathematics sections of the new SAT. It is a
self-paced asynchronous course that is facilitated by an
instructor. The topics covered in the course are aligned
with the focus of the mathematics questions on the SAT
and fall into four categories: Heart of Algebra, Problem
Solving & Data Analysis, Passport to Advanced Math, and
Additional Topics in Math. The lesson options include video
explanations of key topics, vocabulary review, practice
questions, and puzzles or game review. This course is
graded on a pass/fail scale.
