• White/Rose’ wines in clear, light
green, yellow green, blue

• Reds in dark green, brown

• Important to shield from the light

• Why is there a Punt at the

bottom of the bottle?

• Necessary when they were hand

blown

• Traps the sediment

• Provides a more stable base

• No need - some bottles have no punt
