Description:

The Parapet Wall Vent is engineered for maximum
ventilation with pre-punched slots on the bottom along
with louvered face.

 Fabricated from 24-gauge vinyl-coated metal
®
and pre-finished Galvalume 14” wide and 10”
tall with a 6” PVC membrane attached skirt.

 Parapet vent provides 44.5 in of net free area.
 Parapet ventilation area for the attic area without
vapor retarder is 1 sf (ventilation)/150 sf of attic
area.
 Parapet ventilation for new construction attic
area that provides a vapor retarder is 1 sf
(ventilation) / 300 sf of attic area. See the IBC
for ventilation requirements.

1. Install in accordance with EXCEPTIONAL
Metals detail drawings #6010 and #6015.

2. Any deviation from the requirements set forth in
detail drawings must be pre-approved, in writing,
by the EXCEPTIONAL Metals Technical
Department.
