Product description
Magnesium is an indispensable mineral which plays a key role in a great
number of fundamental, cellular processes. Magnesium is also essential for
the energy metabolism, the transfer of nervous impulses and the well
functioning of the muscles. Furthermore, magnesium imparts solidity to the
skeleton and it is needed to build up the muscles. The recommended daily
allowance for adults was fixed on 360-420mg per day. People who practise a
lot of sports, pregnant women and lactating women, have an increased need of
magnesium. In a French study, it was shown that 77% of the female population
and 72% of the male population take less magnesium than the recommended daily
allowance. Magnesium deficiency manifests itself in stress, muscle cramps,
getting tired quickly, water retention, anxiety, over-sensitivity,...
Taurine is an amino acid which is abundantly present in the brains and it is
indispensable in case of mental pressure and efforts. Just like magnesium,
it decreases the amount of adrenalin secreted by the adrenal glands during
stress.
