Selenomethionine

                Product description

Scientific research says that the need of selenium in adults amounts
to 50 to 200 micrograms daily. Our diet however, contain ever less selenium
because of the intensive agriculture and the use of artificial
fertilizers. What is more, our organism needs large amounts of selenium
to cope with the negatice effect of environmental pollution. This essential
trace element is important for the activity of glutathione peroxidase, one of
the most important antioxidant enzymes which protects us from free radicals.
That is why Selenomethionine is an excellent supplement for smokers,
sportsmen, elderly and everyone who wishes to stay healthy and fit.
