Chitosan

                Product description

A slimming diet in combination with the use of Chitosan is more effective
than a diet alone. Chitosan contains fiber from the chitine shell of shrimps,
a natural fiber which has the remarkable quality of binding 4 to 5 times
                their own weight in fat.
Chitosan binds with fats from food when they are still in the stomach and
take the fats with them to be removed via the stools.
This way, fats are inhibited to be absorbed. This remarakable property makes
it possible to - in combination with a calorie poor diet - diminish fat
                overload.

                Precaution

Because Chitosan adsorbs lipids, it may also interfere with the absorption of
fat-soluble vitamins and essential fatty acids.
Suppletion with fat-soluble vitamins (KADE) is recommended 2 hours before
                taking Chitosan.
Chitosan must not be used by people who are allergic to crustaceans or by
                pregnant or lactating women.
