THE FAMILY BEHIND THE
SMOKEHOUSE
In 1974, Mike and Betty Jo Prasek purchased
Hillje Grocery, which was a typical small town
store. This venture was the start of Prasek’s Item# Description Pack

Adolph and Allyne Prasek, were in the grocery

the Praseks began to notice inconsistency of
