guest.
The best of the forum, however, was
the smiles on the faces of the elders at
the end of the forum(s); some even
called us their “new best friends!” We
have been asked to return, so next
year’s organizers, be prepared!
We started our forum with a short re-
view of medication safety presented by
Soror Barber-Owens, focusing on com-
mon medication interactions. We then
had a discussion on scams targeting
seniors. This was led by Soror English
at the first forum; we added diversity at
the next forum with a friend of Delta,
Monique Jackson, Division Manager of
Consumer Planning at MAO, leading
the scam discussion. These were well
received, with much discussion and in-
put from both residents and sorors. At
