I have felt the same sense of panic and frustra-
tion as Dr. Kerr described. I didn’t know what
to call it, but after reading her article I realize
it was burnout. As a single mom with four
children, a full-time job, and workplace stress,
I felt as if I would explode. Thank you, Dr. Kerr,
for taking up such a worthwhile cause. I am
learning self-care and I am beginning to feel
better.
