Hotels & Lodging Abu Dhabi 19th of Dec. 2017: The Ministry of Economy and the Department of Economic Development –
Abu Dhabi have officially launched TIP platform, A platform that will host a community of pioneers in
Tours & Attractions technology and innovation locally, regionally and globally. TIP will also have specialized sub-platforms and
will soon launch an award managed by TIP. The launch took place during a signing ceremony attended by

HE Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy, and HE Saif Mohammed Al Hajeri, Chairman
Medical Tourism of Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, and was signed by HE Eng. Mohammed Ahmed bin
Abdul Aziz Al Shehhi, undersecretary for Economic Affairs, and HE Khalifa Bin Salem Al-Mansouri,
Dubai Pictures & Videos undersecretary of the Department of Economic Development – Abu Dhabi, in the presence of a number of
Contests & Competitions senior officials from both sides. Through this agreement, The Takamul Program, under the Department of
Economic Development – Abu Dhabi, would manage the TIP initiative and content, as well as work closely
with strategic partners to activate and enhance contribution of both public and private sectors within TIP. HE
Eng. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri said, the Ministry of Economy and the Department of Economic
Development – Abu Dhabi sets key priorities around economic diversification and sustainable development,
and as a key focus aim build and develop an integrated economic system that interacts with targeted
sectors locally and internationally, further developing capacities in the fields of technology and innovation
