Al Mansouri said that the Ministry and the SMEs Council have placed building and raising

the capacities of the country’s entrepreneurs on the top of their priorities, due to the
importance of this vital sector that represents the cornerstone of economic diversification

and sustainable development, which the UAE is working on to promote its principles.

Al Qamzi highlighted the importance of the agreement in encouraging innovative thinking
among UAE nationals, by training them and raising their awareness about the latest

developments in entrepreneurship. He added that SMEs are the backbone of both Dubai’s
economy and the UAE’s economy while pointing out that the department is adopting a

clear policy, which aims to support and develop SMEs.
