I have a special

message for you.

I just wanted to take some time to tell you what all the “buzz” is about! It is all about

My Favorite Book and I hope you like it because it is trying to reinforce the lessons I know
you are teaching your child at home.

My Favorite Book is being made available through the generosity of local

sponsors, people who really care about your community. I have put their names, addresses
and telephone numbers in the front of the book. Please give them a call to let them know
your family received the volume. Letting them know you appreciate their generosity not
only encourages them to continue making My Favorite Book available to other young

people, but it also models the good manners we speak about in the volume. Sponsors
do love to hear what children and their parents think of the gift. Because I am a “tech
savvy” bug, I have also put together an interactive website designed for the kids called
myfavoritebookland.com. Another convenient way to thank the sponsors is by

registering your child on the website. The site itself reinforces the values in the book with
fun activities.

You already know the best thing parents can give their kids is their time so reading

My Favorite Book with your child, helping with words as your child reads and talking about
the values in each story is a great activity! I hope this volume helps you instill in your children
the positive character traits that will be with them throughout life.

Remember, too, that I’m in every story so the kids have a chance to find me all through
the book. And there is nothing better than catching the Be Good Bug!
