SCHOOLS
To the Citizens of Middleborough,
Ater having considered input from a variety of
stakeholders across the school district, I presented the new
Strategy for Continuous District Improvement in
September 2023 and it remains in place from September
2023-September 2028. This strategy serves as the blueprint
for district development and defines our mission, vision,
theory of action as well as the strategic objectives and
priorities for the future.
During the 2023-2024, the district engaged in a process to
monitor our progress in our Strategy. We will regularly
monitor this strategy and our progress as a district until we
design our next Strategy in the 2027-2028 school year. The
monitoring process included the collection of data from
multiple sources. The District Leadership Team and District
Administrative Council divided into groups to monitor the
four (4) strategic initiatives of Personalized Success for All
Students; Engage in Collaborative, Data-informed
Planning and Problem Solving; Create Innovative,
Responsive, and Safe Learning Environments for All; and
Establish Meaningful Family and Community Partnerships.
These four teams met quarterly to collect progress in all
areas of the Strategy, including obtaining feedback from all
and additional work to continue in the year to come. The
2024-2025 school year includes a similar process of
strategy monitoring with each time rotating to another
strategic initiative to gain a new perspective of progress on
each portion of the Strategy. Additionally, the newly
formed District Data Team also serves a consulting body to
the strategy monitoring teams to assist in the data
collection process in all four strategic initiatives.
The Strategy for Continuous District Improvement serves
as an anchor of all improvements we want to see in our
school district. Our School Improvement Plans are all
designed in furtherance of our Strategy. As a school
community, we strive to make the educational experience
in Middleborough one that meets the needs of all students
in a safe setting where each student understands that they
are valued, welcome, and belong.
As a school system, we continue to be grateful for the
ongoing support from the citizens of Middleborough. Your
annual commitment, financial and otherwise, allows us to
advance in a productive manner and we are extremely
appreciative.
Each of our school district’s Principals and Directors will
continue this Annual Report each in accordance with their
own appropriate area of leadership and responsibility.
staf across the district as each member of the monitoring
team serves as an administrator within our school district.
Sincerely,
During the late spring 2024, all faculty and staf engaged in
professional development sessions to gain a deeper
understanding of progress made toward each initiative
