Every year the Park System depends upon the help of
many. This support should be recognized. The Peirce
Trustees continue to bring upon crucial funding support
whereby Middleboro families are the direct benefactors.
With all of the apartments arising around town, it seems
open space is more crucial to quality of life than ever
before. The Trustees recognize this growing need and
continue to do so much for the town folks, both old and
new.
Town Manager has been great in bringing forth a new
playground and is working towards the building of a new
skate park. The Middleboro Lion’s Club continues to give
tremendous support towards Oliver Mill Park. And of course,
the Park Commission continues to give countless hours of
volunteer work. These and so many other volunteers help
make the Park Dept. a special place where a nice sense of
Community continues to thrive.
The Highway Dept. and G&E continue to give extra
eforts to make the parks a better and safer place. The
