DIFFERENCES BETWEEN SIERRA REGION AND COAST REGION,

ABOUT THE WEATHER

Sierra and Coast are two regions from Ecuador that differ in two

ways: (First of all), in the Sierra region, the weather is cold. For

this reason, the people prefer to stay at home [watching some

movies or ordering the house]; especially some days when are

raining. In contrast to the Coast region, that always the weather

is hot, and to many people [prefer to go to swim in the sea with

the family or their friends].( Second), in the Sierra region; the

people should use very hot clothes like for example: [heaters,

sweaters, scarves and hoods to avoid diseases.] (However), in the

Coast region, everybody are very fun when they leave the house;

they always wear [shorts, shirts, caps or something like that].

(Finally), both the people of the coast and the people of the

sierra must face certain climatic changes very difficult. To name a

few, in the Coast region[there are tsunamis and in the Sierra

region there are landslides].
