What’s in a BAM Acronym?
NO - National Observer - The National Observer (NO) qualification is the
next step for Observers who have achieved the Local Observer qualification.
LO - Local Observer – your dedicated advanced riding trainer
LOA - Local Observer Assessor - Be responsible for the continual assessment
process of trainee Local Observers with final sign off when the candidate is competent
within the Local Observer framework
PTA - Pre-test Assessment – this is what you will do prior to your test to
ensure you are test ready. The PTA will be recommended by your LO once they have
decided you have met the criteria as detailed in your Advanced Rider Logbook and
through the observed ride outs as part of your Advanced Rider training.
Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal
The Royal British Legion Riders had a Poppy table set up at our November Super Sunday.
The RBL Riders Branch Poppy Table raised a total of £107.95p for the Royal British Legion
Poppy Appeal.
They passed on their thanks to all those at the BAM Super Sunday who donated and
purchased Poppies etc.
