My dream is to have a golf academy in
Nepal which would provide underprivileged
children their own space where they can learn
and practice. Kathmandu has a growing street-
children population, and I believe the game of
golf offers a pathway to a better life. Although
it’s a big dream, it’s not impossible.
One of the biggest challenges has been
getting training aids and equipment for my
students. Nepal is one of two Asian countries
that rank among the world’s poorest, and
a private lesson fee is only $8, which makes
attaining teaching aids and equipment
somewhat restrictive.
