Helen O'Leary (nee Guinane)
Helen O'Leary (nee Guinane) sadly passed away on 27th of August last after a brave
battle with illness. Helen was a talented camogie player for both Club and County, lead-
ing Truagh to the holy grail in 2012. Helen made her Senior debut for Truagh as a young
teenager and whilst still a minor in 2005 passed on many words and skills of wisdom
whilst coaching the club's U12s to a county title. Commuting from her work in Dublin
Helen lead as captain both on and off the field in her commitment to Truagh as they
captured the County Intermediate and Munster Junior Club Titles that year.
