Mineral Mine
Mines are holes that are dug to remove valuable min-
erals from under the ground. Rich deposits of valua-
ble minerals including precious metals, iron ore and
slate. Other valuable products come from Japan’s
mines include clay, sand and gravel. However, min-
ing in Japan is minimal because Japan does not pos-
sess many on-shore mineral resources.
