  These careful compositions of multiple lines and rectangles display repeated patterns of crystalline-like geometries. She recasts the repeated geometries of the architectural elements into invented colonies, instilling pastoral undercur- rents in the banal geometries. Painted with watercolor and graphite extensions, the vacant structures become fleeting dioramas of contemporary archaeological sites. These images emerge like thin embroidery patterns that sometimes appear flat and at other moments are three-dimensional.
