Murphy is originally from Sunderland, North East England, currently based in Vũng Tàu, Vietnam. Several of his prints are currently owned by private collectors inter- nationally. In 2025 Murphy exhibited work at Quintessentially British, a special event showcasing the best of British heritage, craftsmanship and innovation, at Thu Thiem Riverstage, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
