The works maintain a fascination with and examination of the construct of space and forms, through an apprehension of the early-twentieth-century Modernist movements, particularly Constructivism and Futurism. Theoretical elements of the Concrete Poetry movement also serve as inspiration. Wolfson’s unique approach to functional sculpture,
design, and art is in- formed by the vigorous dynamics resulting from the fracture and frag- mentation of form— the layering and manipulat- ing of both two- and three-dimensional stud- ies into fluid shapes and forms, where movement of light, shadow, and reflection become an in- tegral part of the seduc- tion of the work.
