 “In my paintings, I try to capture spirit with imperfect math.
Geometry, diagrams, blueprints, and grids excite my imagination: lines describe, connect, and make meaning within an abstract universe of color and form. Merging el- ements of expressionism and minimalism, my objective is to find the right balance between emotional exuberance and logical containment. The tension of this opposition drives both the subject and the process of my work.”
