Lorio was born and raised in New Orleans. He earned his BA in Art Education from the University of South Florida, and his MFA from the University of South Florida. He taught at various colleges and uni- versities in the United States for 33 years. His work has been exhibited in multiple group shows. Solo exhibi- tions include IA&A AT Hillier, Washington, DC; McLean Project for the Arts, McLean, VA.
