Caring……….. The one word that comes to my mind when I think of
athimber is caring....He lovingly and caringly has helped and guided me on many
occasions. One of them is he told me and Koushikji to lay anchor in one place...we choose
Salem and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of our life.
Our athimber was a loving, caring and humble person. He held high positions in the Foreign
Service, yet not once did he boast about his position, power or about his travels. He was a
great scholar in English and Tamizh as well.He has helped me during my college days and
taught me how to memorise long and difficult Tamizh verses.
He was a teetotaller and vegetarian. He respected and loved his parents. He was equally
respectful and loving to my parents. He was a great devotee of Lord Muruga and Ramana
Maharishi.
I am full of admiration, love and gratitude to him for all that he has taught and done for me.
Appa and Athimber taught me that the essence of Life is simple living and high thinking.
On his 100th Birthday I remember him with fond regards and sincerely wish he were
around to see me contented and happy. I am sure he is blessing and guiding us all
everyday from wherever he is. He is very dear to me....Love...Revathi.

Integrity……..Venkatji lived his values of honesty, strong moral and ethical
principles in his relationships with family , friends and his colleagues. He applied the
same values to his extended family in Australia , India and around the world. Acting with
honour and truthfulness are the basic tenets of Venkatji.
He always gave the others the benefit of doubt, and conveyed true kindness. He
manifested humility and showed respect to others.
My deepest respect to a great MAN.
