Counting in Groups
Counting in groups is an extension of counting and is closely related to skip-counting. For example, if you are trying to skip-
count an object by 2, that means you need to be able to count in groups of 2 as well. This provides the basis before repeated
addition and multiplication, thus students need to become comfortable with these skills.
