Let’s measure the length.

Measure- 1. Each player takes ten different colored Cuisenaire rods.

2. Place the comparing lengths activity sheet in the middle of the table. Each
player places a coin on the Start line.
3. Each player flicks the coin as far as he/she can. Try again if the coin goes over
the red line.
4. The player who flicks his/her coin farther earns 1 point.
5. Estimate the distance from the Start line to the farther coin, and then select
three Cuisenaire rods to show the distance.
6. Join the selected Cuisenaire rods to measure the length. The player whose
estimate is closer earns 2 points.
7. Play several rounds. The player who earns more points wins.
