Materials: Number Battle board, 4 Number chip sets (0-9)
Let’s compare 1-digit numbers and 2-digit numbers by saying ‘Greater’ or
‘Less’.
Number 1. Place the board in the middle of the table.
Battle 2. Shuffle four number chip sets face down and place them aside.
3. Each player takes three number chips and places them in the crack of the board
without showing them to the other player.
4. One player says ‘Greater’ or ‘Less’ to decide on a condition.
5. Each player selects two number chips and makes a 2-digit number according
to the condition.
6. Compare the two numbers. The player takes all of the four number chips if
he/she makes a number according to the condition.
7. Each player places the last number chip and compares two 1-digit numbers.
The player takes the two chips if he/she places the chip according to the
condition.
8. Play several rounds. The player who collects more chips wins.
