Basic Concepts Reaching a Target Number

You can make a target number using the given numbers and operation
symbols ( , , , ), and parentheses. It is easier to start with a simple
equation, and then use other numbers to represent the numbers used in
the first equation.

For instance, when the given numbers are 2 , 1.5, 2, 4, 5, and 20, and the
target number is 10, you can start with 5 2 10. If you substitute the
numbers 5 and 2 with expressions using other numbers, you can come up
with different equations.
