Materials: Solid figures (A, B, C), Nine windows activity sheet,
Solid figure card activity sheet
Let’s look at the parts of the whole figure by opening nine windows one by
one.
Geometric 1. Spread the solid figures A, B, and C in the middle of the table and prepare the
Solids activity sheets.
2. Make a frame with nine windows by using nine windows activity sheet. Shuffle
the solid figure cards face down and stack them aside.
3. Decide who will be the tagger and the player. The tagger selects one solid figure
card and places it into the window frame he/she made without showing it to the
player.
4. Place the frame in the middle of the table. The player selects one number of
windows and the tagger opens the window to show a part of a solid figure.
5. The player says the numbers until he/she guesses the whole figure behind the
windows and selects one solid figure piece as he/she guesses.
6. Take the card out and check the figure. The player earns points as many as the
closed windows if he/she selects the figure correctly.
7. Switch the roles and play several rounds. The player who earns more points wins.
