Challenge Skip-Counting and Clapping
1 Play the skip-count game with your classmates. What you need:
Let’s Play Spinner Board (A7)
1. Spin a number from 2 to 5. Transparent
Spinner
2. The first player will say the number aloud. The
players will then go around in a circle to say the
next number or clap. When they do this, each
player should only say their number aloud if the
number was skip-counted from the first number.
3. The player who claps at the wrong time or says the
number at the wrong time loses.

Example: The spinner lands on 2. The first player says “2.” The
second player claps, since his number is 3. Then the next
player says “4,” since 4 is a number skip-counted from 2.
