Materials: 36 Multiplication number chips ( ), 2 White number chip sets (1-9),
Addition number chips ( , ), Division bingo activity sheet
‘Division bingo’ is to make division sentences by using your own number
chips and selected number chips. Let’s connect four quotients faster than
the other player.
Arith. 1. Place the division bingo activity sheet in the middle of the table. Shuffle thirty-six
Match multiplication number chips face down.
2. Each player takes one white number chip set and a color set of addition number
chips.
3. Decide who will go first. In his/her turn, select one multiplication number chip
and divide it by a number on one of his/her white number chips to find a quotient.
4. Place one of his/her addition number chip face down on the quotient of the
activity sheet. The players can use the white number chips again but place the
multiplication number chips aside and not use them again.
5. Take turns playing the game. The player who connects four quotients in a row,
in a column, or in a diagonal direction first wins.
