Materials:「Make Numbers」activity board, 4 Number chip sets (0-9)
Compose two numbers and make 9 using number chips. Let’s make more of
number 9 than the other player.
Number 1. Shuffle four number chip sets (0-9) face down.
Battle 2. Decide who will go first. Take turns selecting the number chips one by one and
placing it on the empty place on the 「Make Numbers」 activity board. Place the
chip on top of the placed chip if there is no empty place.
3. Take two chips if he/she makes 9 by composing two numbers that are connected
by a line. If the chips are placed on top of each other, take all the chips below
them.
4. Play until there is no chip to take. The player who collects more chips wins.
Composing 8 and 1 is 9.
