Method 2 Count by drawing the top, front, and side views
The number of
faces are the same when
looking from the front and
back. Be aware of hidden
faces that you cannot
see from the top,
front, and side.
① Draw the top, front, and side views.

② Count the faces of each top, front and side views. Then multiply
by 2 for each view and add them.
4^2+6^2+4^2=28 (faces)
③ Count the number of hidden faces that the top, front, and side.
Then add them to ②.
