Birds spend much time looking for food. Swallow
Most birds eat insects. Insects are very Parrot
good food for swallows! But some birds Kiwi
like parrots eat seeds or fruit. Other
birds eat meat. Owls eat small animals!
Most birds can fly. They fly here and
there for food. But some birds like kiwis
and ostriches cannot fly. They walk or
run on land. They find their food there.
Some birds like penguins and ducks
find their food in water. They are good
swimmers!
