Type 6-1 Finding the Different Marble

There are eight marbles in total. One marble weighs 10 g, another
marble weighs 12 g, and the remaining six marbles weigh 7 g each.
Marbles are placed on the balances as shown below. Find out which
marble weighs 10 g, and which marble weighs 12 g.

1 When you look at Balance , the combined weight of marbles , , and

2 Look at the three marbles on the left side of Balance . Although you do

not know the weight for each marble, you can still find out which weights
are on the balance. What are these three weights?

4 When two marbles of 7 g each are removed from both sides of Balances
