Materials: Arith. Match board, Game pieces (Red, Yellow)
‘Differenc relay’ is to select two numbers from the numbers 1 to 18 and
take turns finding the difference between the selected numbers. Be aware of
selecting two numbers to make consecutive numbers and earn extra points.
Arith. 1. Place Arith. Match board in the middle of the table. Each player takes a color set of
Match game pieces.
2. One player puts his/her game piece on an even number between 1 and 10 and the
other player put his/her game piece on an odd number between 11 and 18.
3. Decide who will go first. In his/her turn, find the difference between the numbers
where the pieces put on and put his/her game piece on the number as a result.
Note that if a game piece is already put on the number, he/she cannot put his/her
game piece on it.
4. Take turns finding the difference. If he/she cannot put his/her game piece on, the
other player takes a turn. The game ends when both players cannot put his/her game
piece on.
5. Each player earns points as many as his/her game pieces on the board and he/she
earns extra points as many as consecutive game pieces on the board.
6. The player who earns more points wins.
