Magic squares

Let’s learn how to solve a magic square 3×3 using each number from
1 to 9 only once.
⑴ Find the sum of all the numbers.

 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9=

⑵ Find the sum of numbers in one row by knowing that the sum of each

row and each column are the same. ★
The sum of all the numbers (1-9) is the same

as the sum of the numbers in three rows. ★

⑶ Find the number in the using the sum of all the numbers in four lines
(row, column, and diagonals).

The sum of all the numbers in four lines is

The eight numbers in the are added once and
the number in the is added four times. Therefore,
adding the numbers from 1 to 9 and adding the
number in the middle for three times are the same
as the sum of all numbers in four lines.
