Materials: Building blocks, Connecting four building blocks activity sheet
‘Connect four building blocks’ is to place building blocks and connect four
same colored building blocks horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Let’s
decide on attacking or defending in your turn to connect four building
blocks first.
Cube 1. Place the activity sheet in the middle of the table. Each player takes a color set
Tower of building blocks.
2. Decide who will go first. In his/her turn, place one his/her building block on the
gray space on the activity sheet.
3. Take turns placing the building blocks. The player who connects his/her four
building blocks horizontally, vertically, or diagonally first wins.
4. Play the game with more gray spaces on the activity sheet.
It’s your turn. I’ll block
yours first because
your three building
blocks are connected
vertically.
