AREA ONE CONFERENCE RULES – 2021

(A Virtual Conference)

The rules presented below governing this Area One Conference - 2021 are not intended to intimidate or to impede
but to promote a meeting atmosphere that is conducive to positive expeditious and democratic deliberations.

The order of business shall be the printed program or order of business adopted by Area One delegates assembled,
with any necessary corrections.

Rule 1
The first order of business shall be the adoption of these proposed Rules for Area One Conference - 2021 of Top
Ladies of Distinction, Inc.

Rule 2
The second order of business shall be the adoption of the Area One Conference - 2021 Agenda as presented by
the National Area One Director – Lady Annie Mouton.

Rule 3
The business sessions shall begin and end promptly in accordance with the official agenda. Exceptions may be
made by the National Area One Director as needed and approval of the voting body.

Rule 4
Appropriate registration credentials must be presented to allow entrance into and participation in all sessions.

Rule 5
The voting strength shall be announced at the opening session and at the beginning of each plenary session.

Rule 6
Protocol shall be properly established at the opening Plenary session of the Area One Conference by the first
presenter; thereafter, the following presenters will address the presiding officer for recognition to proceed.

Rule 7

All reports must be typewritten with copies submitted to the Area One Recording Secretary.
