Voting strength will be announced at the beginning of each plenary session. Each delegate must have certified
prior to the start of the session in order to be included in the chapter voting strength.

Late attendees will have to request to be seated from the presiding officer. The delegate will need to seek
privileges of the floor, upon recognition by the presiding officer she shall state her name, chapter indicating
she is a delegate requesting to be seated. Upon recognition from the presiding officer, the voting strength will
be amended by the Area Financial Secretary.

If a delegate must leave the session, her voting card can be given to a certified alternate who must assume that
delegates seat in the designated area. If there is no alternate to assume the seat, the delegate must surrender
her voting card to the sergeant-at-arms who will notify the credentials committee representative at the door.
The credentials committee representative will note the change in strength and notify the Area Financial
Secretary. When the delegate returns they will recertify with the credentials committee representative at the
door who will notify the Area Financial Secretary.
