Years later, I painted two portraits from that period of my life.
“Portrait of a Mother with a Broken Arm”
Robin was married to an abusive husband. He beat her, broke her arm, threw her out of the house onto the concrete sidewalk. Then, he threw the baby out the door. Robin caught Victoria with her broken arm.
