IPHS Report

         From the IPHS President;

The Independent Pinto Horse Society Inc undertook the major task of providing the Australian
All Breeds Tour and Naonal Show (AABT) to the Australian equestrian community for 2020.

We were most fortunate that the AABT 2020 Judge, the esteemed internaonal FN breed judge,
Mr Frank Weißkirchen was sll prepared to proceed despite the early beginnings of Corona
Virus situaon which at the me had not impacted Australia.

The 2020 Australian All Breeds Tour and Naonal Show offered parcipants the opportunity to
have their horses and ponies scored to an internaonal standard by a classifier who has judged
some of the very best horses in Europe. By having the same Judge view and score each entry in

every state across the country ensures transparency and most importantly, consistency
         naonally.

The Tour commenced in late February and connued through most of March. Frank and our
extremely experienced Tour organizer Tanya Hosford traveled through Western Australia, South
Australia, Queensland, and New South Wales where they were well received at all venues and by
all parcipants. Unfortunately the Corona Virus pandemic was escalang daily and by the me
they arrived in Victoria we had no opon but to cut the tour short and get Frank onto a flight

back home while we sll could. It was with great disappointment that we were unable to aend
the Victorian venues and meet the parcipants.

Any breed group or registry as well as any individual who wanted to have their horse or pony
scored by an Internaonal Judge within Australia and to parcipate in a Naonal Show was
welcome to enter the Tour. The AABT received a wide variety of entries with breeds including
Warmblood, Trakehner, Paint, Drum Horse, Quarter Pony, Miniature and Australian Sports Pony
as well as registered Pintos, Pintaloosas and Foundaon Pintos.

The 2020 AABT event saw some exceponal scores being received by the outstanding number of
quality entries, with Frank awarding the AABT ‘Elite’ sash for a score over 80% to a large number
of recipients. AABT also issued parcipants with ‘Premium’ or ‘Silver’ sashes according to the
         scores they received.

The scores assessment comments each entry received from Mr. Weißkirchen provides owners
and breeders with valuable feedback from a very experienced assessor which can be used for

quality control in breeding programs and to help achieve your breeding goals as well as
providing an indicaon of the suitability of the horse for performance and future breeding
         purposes.
