2018 Talent Contest Grand Prize Winners

This year, we invited Global Care to participate in the Talent Contest for the first
time, and we’re thrilled to welcome these winners of the INFocus dance troupe
from the Philippines. Jerome Labastida, Region Oropesa III, Judy Armeña, and Mel
Arveen Firme all share a love for dancing and the Un-carrier, and this combination is
a blast to watch!

DAMEKA COLLIER
2018 Talent Contest Grand Prize Winner

Dameka Collier, also known by her artist name, “Dameka Rochelle,” is an Associate Expert at our
Chattanooga Call Center in Tennessee. Music and performing have been close to her heart since
the early age of four; as the daughter of a preacher, she would sing to the church until he started his
sermon. Although Dameka was only a few weeks into her new job at T-Mobile when she decided to
enter this year’s Talent Contest, she proves that her love of magenta already runs deep!

THOMAS COPELAND
2018 Talent Contest Grand Prize Winner

Thomas Copeland is a Mobile Expert in the Hollywood market in California, and has been a part of
our team magenta family for over 8 years. He has been singing and rapping for several years and
started a rock band in high school, and then joined a hip hop group as an emcee and producer.
He gets his inspiration from the energy of the crowd and seeing the audience connect with the
music—“They become part of your world for that moment, and they lose themselves in the music
and the message behind it,” he says.

2018 Talent Contest Grand Prize Winners

What happens when Grease the musical meets the Un-carrier? You’re about to find
out! Anthony Cruz, Christopher Dally, Jarred Akerly, Alejandro Castillo, Edgar Ignacio
are a group of Mobile Experts and Retail Store Managers from the Los Angeles area
who all share a passion for music and entertaining. A crowd favorite at this year’s
Winner Circle Awards in Las Vegas, they were invited by the Senior Leadership Team
to perform again here at PEAK!
