   Public Speaking
Breath control is key to public speaking. Take a deep breath in, speak as you breath out.
I hated public speaking. I was scared to death of public speaking. So what did I do? I did it. A lot. I’m not afraid of it anymore. That’s how fear works. You confront it, over and over, until the large monster with the fangs and claws shrivels up to the size of a small, defenseless creature that you can swallow, squash with your shoe, or discard over your shoulder.
Public speaking tip. For us fast talkers, learn to speak in short phrases, with brief pauses between them. It’ll slow you down, help
you speak more clearly, avoid mumbling and cutting off syllables and will reduce the number of word fillers you use.
