 What? What about a wedding with 350+ people on April 4, 2020? We immediately contacted our wedding planner and began putting together a “Plan B.” If this pandemic carries over into April, we need to examine a possible rescheduling date in May.

A s 2019 drew to a close, there was excitement and anticipation in the air for the Foster family. Our oldest daughter, Burgess, was making the final preparations
for her April 4, 2020 wedding day to her 10th grade high school sweetheart.
The last three months of 2019 were filled with endless love, fun and excitement with engagement parties, showers and final details for the wedding. The ceremony would be held in our family church, Eastminister Presbyterian Church, and officiated by our Senior Pastor who had a vital role in Burgess’s spiritual development. The reception was to be held a few blocks away in downtown Columbia, S.C. at a historic mansion that had just been converted to a social venue. Our April 4, 2020 wedding would be the first function ever to be held at this venue. Approximately 25 vendors were
